What Learn with Emma is

Learn with Emma is a companion for families: an AI character, Emma, who talks, plays and teaches through a Roku TV, the Learn with Emma app for iPhone and iPad, and this website. It is made by Big-Me Softwares ("we").

A grown-up is in charge

Accounts are created by adults. Children use Learn with Emma together with a grown-up who is present and supervising. The grown-up sets up the children's cards, the family rules and any purchases. You are responsible for who uses your account and your devices.

Emma is an AI

Emma is a computer program. She does her best to be accurate, kind and age-appropriate, and she can still make mistakes. Nothing she says is medical, legal, financial or professional advice. Use your judgement, especially for anything that matters.

Credits

Emma's listening, thinking, talking, pictures, clips and AI drawings use credits. Credits are consumable: they are used as Emma works and are not refundable once used. Packs bought on a Roku TV, in the app or on this website all go into one wallet for your account. Refunds for a pack follow the policy of the store where it was bought (Roku, Apple or our payment processor). We may change prices and pack sizes; purchases already made are not affected. Breaks and Emma's exact maths drawings are free.

Your content and privacy

What your family says to Emma is used only to answer, and is not stored. The app keeps a working copy of your family's details on your own device so it can function; we never sell or share your personal information with anyone, for any reason. Our privacy notice explains what stays on your devices and the little we keep. By using Learn with Emma you accept these terms and that notice; the app asks you to confirm this the first time it opens.

Fair use

Do not use Learn with Emma to harm anyone, to get around its safety rules, to resell access, or in any way that breaks the law. We may suspend an account used that way.

Availability

We work hard to keep Emma available, and sometimes a service she depends on is down or slow. We do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change as Emma grows.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings; remaining credits are forfeited and everything we hold about the account is removed. We may close accounts that break these terms.
